Abstract
Aging is a complex process influenced by telomere shortening and damage to cellular DNA. New insights into age-associated decrements in DNA damage rep air are reviewed. Age-associated gross, histologic, and functional cutaneou s deficits are delineated. Different treatment options for aged skin are ex amined.
