Abstract
The influence of different doses of the platinum derivative Pt-DNA-III on t he survival of cultured cells obtained from brain tumors of 13 operated pat ients was investigated. The treatment of cell cultures for 24 h with Pt-DNA -III at the increasing doses from 7.5 to 30 Mg/ml resulted in. the monotono us decrease of the cell survival. At the highest dose of the drug the inhib ition of cell reproduction (70-90%) was observed.
