Abstract
An asymptotic procedure to compare the mean of two samples of dependen t data taken from two subsets of Z(d) is given. It is shown that the g eometry of the subsets has a relevant influence on the problem. Our me thod is based on some results concerning the existence of weak limits for certain sequences of random vectors.
