Abstract
In order that radiations emitted from actinides may be detected simultaneou sly and separately, the authors have applied a dual-parameter technique to phoswich detectors. The output data from the phoswich detectors were analyz ed in three dimensions, i.e., event number, pulse height, and rise time. Si multaneous counting of alpha-rays, beta/gamma-rays, and neutrons was conseq uently made possible with the two types of phoswich: ZnS(Ag)/Li-6 glass and ZnS(Ag)/anthracene.
