Abstract
A test paper for the determination of aluminum(III) was developed on the ba sis of chromatographic cellulose paper impregnated with Chrome Azurol S. Th e test paper was applied to monitoring the concentration of aluminum(III) i n potable and natural water within the range 0.05-0.6 mg/L using diffuse re flectance spectroscopy or visual detection. Chromaticity measurements were used to construct a visual test scale.
