Abstract
X-band EPR investigations are made on single crystals of Tetrakisimidazole Copper(II) Sulphate (CIMS) at room temperature and LN2 temperatures. Analys is of anisotropic line width in different crystallographic planes has revea led that CIMS is best described as a 2D magnetic system in the anisotropic exchange model of Soos et al. (Phys. Rev. B 16 (1977) 3036). The upper limi t of isotropic exchange interaction is evaluated to be 0.04cm(-1) at LN2 te mperature and is of ferromagnetic type. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
