Abstract
In this paper we show the existence of the multiple multivortex solutions o f the self-duality equations of (2+1) dimensional Chern-Simons-Higgs model in a background metric of the form g(mu nu)=diag(1,-b(x),-b(x)) with b(x)=O (\x\(-l)) as \x\--> infinity for some l >2.
