Abstract
A 4-year-old Burmese cat had undergone two different urethrostomy proc edures to resolve feline urethral obstruction. Both methods failed bec ause of incorrect surgical techniques. The reasons for failure, the se condary complications, and the surgical correction of the previously p erformed urethrostomies are described.
