Abstract
Hypogymnia hypotrypella is reduced to synonymy with H. hypotrypa. Hypogymni a flavida is described as a new species of lichenized fungi from east Asia, the esorediate counterpart of H. hypotrypa. Hypogymnia sinica is resurrect ed from synonymy with H. pseudohypotrypa.
