Abstract
The existence of time local C-infinity-solutions is shown for the porous me dium equations: u(i)=div(u(l)delu),(x,t) is an element of R-N x [0,infinity ), u(x,0) = u(0)(x) is an element of boolean AND (infinity)(m=0) H-m (R-N). This gives the continuation of our previons result [14] to higher dimensio nal cases.
