Abstract
A discrete method for the numerical study of the evolution equations for so ft undeformed magnetoelastic solids subjected to magnetic actions is presen ted. A result concerning the numerical stability of the proposed semi-impli cit finite difference scheme is established. Numerical experiments on a spe cific test problem are carried out also to investigate on the phenomenon of the development of singularities in ferromagnets.
