Abstract
We study the proton emission process from particle-unbound levels of Cl-31. A standard shell-model calculation provides the single-particle structure of the excited states of Cl-31, and Gamow wave functions are used to descri be the proton emission. Recent experimental data are analyzed to obtain inf ormation about spins and parities of the excited levels and the most import ant proton decay channels. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
