Abstract
A quasilinear elliptic equation with mired nonlinear boundary conditio ns is considered. where the admissible coefficients are given in a cer tain interval. We are looking for maximal values of the solution with respect to the set of admissible coefficients. The existence of a maxi mal solution is proven both in the continuous and in a discretized for mulation. Some convergence analysis is also presented. (C) 1997 Academ ic Press.
