The hypernetted chain and Percus-Yevick approximations are used to study th
e phase diagram of a simple hard-core Yukawa model of charge-stabilized col
loidal particles in a two-dimensional system. We calculate the static struc
ture factor and the pair distribution function over a wide range of paramet
ers. Using static correlation functions, we present an estimate for the liq
uid-solid phase diagram for a wide range of parameters.
