E. Braaten et Hw. Hammer, Three-body recombination into deep bound states in a Bose gas with large scattering length - art. no. 160407, PHYS REV L, 8716(16), 2001, pp. 0407
An effective field theory for the three-body system with large two-body sca
ttering length a is applied to three-body recombination into deep bound sta
tes in a Bose gas. The recombination constant ce is calculated to first ord
er in the short-distance interactions that allow the recombination. For a <
0, the dimensionless combination m<alpha>/((h) over bara(4)) is a periodic
function of ln \a \ that exhibits resonances at values of a that differ by
multiplicative factors of 22.7. This dramatic behavior should be observabl
e near a Feshbach resonance when a becomes large and negative.
