T. Terashima et al., Evolution of quasiparticle properties in UGe2 with hydrostatic pressure studied via the de Haas-van Alphen effect - art. no. 166401, PHYS REV L, 8716(16), 2001, pp. 6401
We report measurements of the de Haas-van Alphen effect in UGe2 under hydro
static pressures up to 17.6 kbar, exceeding the critical pressure P-c for t
he suppression of ferromagnetism. A discontinuous change of the Fermi surfa
ce is found to occur across P-c. Substantially enhanced effective masses (s
imilar to 40m(e)) are found near P-c on both the ferromagnetic and the para
magnetic sides.
