Neutrino oscillations nu (iL) reversible arrow V-jR in the field of a linea
rly polarized electromagnetic wave are studied on the basis of a recently p
roposed effective Hamiltonian that describes the evolution of a spin in an
arbitrary electromagnetic field. The condition of resonance amplification o
f the oscillations is analyzed in detail. A method is developed for qualita
tively studying solutions to the equation of neutrino evolution in the reso
nance region. This method can be used to explore neutrino oscillations in f
