The time of 90 degrees magnetization reversal of a film with an in-plane un
iaxial anisotropy was found to depend on the rise time of the magnetization
reversal pulse. The minimum magnetization reversal time is realized if the
magnetization suffers an integer number of oscillations about the equilibr
ium angle phi (s)(t) by the time moment at which the magnetizing field reac
hes the magnitude of the anisotropy field.
