Abstract
We describe the use of the readily available polystyryl sulfonyl chloride r esin in the solution-phase synthesis of esters from carboxylic acids and al cohols or phenols in high yields and purity. All byproducts can be removed by filtration. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
