Simultaneous multi-frequency TMDSC measurements

We presented a study of advantages and limitations of different temperature -time profiles for simultaneous multi-frequency TMDSC measurements. Theoret ical consideration was followed by some experimental examples. We showed th at the optimal program temperature should contain sharp steps. In experimen ts higher harmonics of heat flow rate up to 100th were detected which means simultaneous covering two decades of frequency in a single measurement. Im portance of linear conditions was also discussed and the way to check linea rity was shown. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
