Abstract
Along with five known triterpene glycosides, a new triterpene glucosyl este r, named crataegioside, was isolated from the roots of Rubus crataegifolius Bunge. The structure was established as ilexosapogenin A 28-O-beta -D-gluc opyranosyl ester by chemical and spectroscopic methods.
