Abstract
At the commencement of the Cooperative Research Centre for the Cattle and B eef Industry (Meat Quality) participating scientists were encouraged to ant icipate the methods and channels that might be used to deliver the Cooperat ive Research Centre's research outcomes to beef industry end-users. This im portant step was seen as the completion of the process, which began with th e beef industry issue, leading then to formulation of the Cooperative Resea rch Centre concept, initiation of the research program, completion of resea rch and finally commercialisation or delivery of products and processes to industry. This paper deals with techniques, institutions and commercial arr angements employed to achieve delivery and adoption of diverse outcomes of the Cooperative Research Centre.
