The paper performs a viscometric study of cellulose powder in cupriethylene
diamine at different temperatures. The dimensions over a wide range of conc
entrations, as well as the dilute-semidilute and semidilute-concentrated cr
itical concentrations and the concentration at which the macromolecules att
ain their unpertubed dimensions were determined. The perturbed and unpertur
bed chain flexibility for cellulose powder, both untreated and treated by a
lkaline extraction or by bleaching with H2O2, were discussed.
