Abstract
The reactive polycarbonate precursors of phenyl carbonate-ended oligomers a menable to polycondensation in the phosgene-free polycarbonate process were catalytically synthesized via a novel one-step reaction of the coupled oxi dative carbonylation of bisphenol-A and phenol with carbon monoxide.
