Abstract
The fusion research conducted tit tile Laboratory for Laser Energetics requ ires large amounts of tritium and generates brief but very high, neutron fl uxes. This raises a number of radiological concerns that have been satisfac torily addressed Wa a combination of engineering controls, training, and ad ministrative controls. These problems encountered and our solutions to them are described in this paper.
