Women workers' awareness level and correlates thereof: Reflecting the agenda of social work intervention

The present paper assesses the awareness level of women workers with respec t to workplace policies and related welfare provisions, examines the socioe conomic and occupational correlates of awareness and emphasises the eminent need for the creation of legal awareness among women workers. The study is confined to the substantially large, female dominated private sector indus tries of Delhi with active trade unions.
