Abstract
Reaction of the symmetrical proligand HL4 with zinc(II) salts has given mon o- and di-nuclear metal complexes. The structure of a mononuclear complex. [ZnL4], which crystallises in the triclinic space group P (1) over bar (C-i (1), No. 2) with unit cell parameters a = 9.3910(10), b = 9.4959(10), c = 1 5.9380(16) Angstrom, alpha = 96.938(2)degrees, beta = 97.097(2)degrees, y = 100.082(2)degrees, has been determined.
