Results obtained in an experimental study of the thermoviscoplastic deforma
tion of some structural materials under nonisothermal complex loading are p
resented. The isotropy postulate is experimentally proved for small strains
under nonisothermal loading, when the rheological properties of the materi
al manifest themselves, and for large strains at room temperature. The vect
or and scalar properties revealed in complex loading are investigated. Meth
ods describing these properties are proposed and verified experimentally.
