Abstract
We show that there is an open universe solution in the vacuum-induced-gravi ty theory (k = 0). The scale factor a(t) obeys a power law a(t) similar to t(alpha), where alpha is a real number. Under some constraint conditions, t his solution is similar to the Einstein-De Sitter universe solution of Eins tein's theory.
