Abstract
Molecular analysis of two isolates obtained from a venezuelian patient suff ering with actinomycetoma rapidly lead to the identification of Nocardia br asiliensis. Although morphologically different, biochemical and cytochemica l analysis showed than both isolates were most probably the same strain.
