Abstract
Hydatid involvement of the aorta is extremely uncommon. We present a case w here a hydatid cyst of the lung eroded into the thoracic aorta, causing mas sive hemoptysis. Successful repair was performed by resection (including le ft lower lobectomy) and graft interposition.
