What are colleges doing about student assessment? - Does it make a difference?

Using national survey data, this study examines how postsecondary instituti ons have approached undergraduate student assessment, the organizational an d administrative patterns used to support assessment, and the institutional uses and impacts realized from assessment efforts. Patterns of assessment approaches, organizational and administrative support, and uses and impacts differ by institutional type.
