Abstract
We report a case of histologically confirmed Scedosporium prolificans pulmo nary infection secondary to longstanding bronchiectasis that necessitated e xcision lung surgery. This case emphasizes the difficulties with the medica l management of deep-seated fungal infections. (C) 2001 The British Infecti on Society.
