Abstract
Locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) stage IIIA/IIIB represe nts approximately 30% of NSCLC and still has a poor prognosis. In this arti cle we give a short review on several randomized phase III trials that show ed a slight but significant survival benefit for sequential chemo-radiother apy in the treatment of locally advanced NSCLC.
