The spectrum of cerium was recorded in 100-1240 Angstrom regions on a varie
ty of normal and grazing incidence spectrographs using a conventional vacuu
m triggered spark and a laser produced plasma source. The tenth spectrum of
cerium was investigated for the first time. Thirty-four lines were classif
ied in Ce X in the 225-732 Angstrom region. Eight levels belonging to the o
dd parity configurations and seventeen levels of the even parity configurat
ions have been established. The least-squares-fitted parametric calculation
s and Hartree-Fock calculations were carried out and they interpret the spe
ctrum satisfactorily.
