N. Akama et al., CP violation in the kaon system in a supersymmetric SU(5) model with seesaw-induced neutrino masses - art. no. 095012, PHYS REV D, 6409(9), 2001, pp. 5012
CP violations in the kaon system are studied in the supersymmetric SU(5) mo
del with right-handed neutrinos. We pay special attention to the renormaliz
ation group effect on the off-diagonal elements of the squark mass matrices
. In particular. if the Yukawa couplings and mixings in the neutrino sector
are sizable, off-diagonal elements of the right-handed down-type squark ma
ss matrix are generated, which affect CP and flavor violations in decay pro
cesses of the kaon. We calculate supersymmetric contributions to epsilon (a
s well as Deltam(K)), Br(K-L-->pi (o)nu<(<nu>)over bar>), and epsilon'/epsi
lon in this framework. We will see that the supersymmetric contribution to
the epsilon parameter can be as large as (and in some cases. larger than) t
he experimentally measured value. We also discuss its implication to future
tests of the unitarity triangle of the Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix.
