Abstract
We present a case of unsuspected extrahepatic arterial-main portal venous f istula diagnosed by multiphase computed tomography with three-dimensional v olume-rendered computed tomographic angiography. To our knowledge, this ent ity has not been reported previously in the literature, and it represents a n example of pathology that may only be detected and clarified with multiph ase imaging with three-dimensional rendering. This finding has great clinic al importance in patient management.
