The self assemble film of single - walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) based on
diazoresins bas been prepared on CaF2 and mica substrates. By functionaliza
tion, the ends of SWCNT were turned into the carboxyl group and carboxyl ac
id group, which can react with the diazo group of diazoresins via coulombic
effect. The process of deposition of film on the mica substrate can be cha
racterized with UV - vis spectra. The film is photosensitive. Under UV irra
diation, the bond between carboxyl group and diazo group will change into c
ovalent, which enhance the stability of the film. The photodecomposition of
the film follows the kinetics of first - order reaction. The results of IR
spectra prove the existence of the self assemble film of SWCNT and diazore
sins on CaF2 substrates.
