Abstract
In the title compound, C21H16N2O, the molecule is nearly planar, with a dih edral angle of 11.2 (1)degrees between the benzaldehyde and fluorene moieti es. The attached methoxy group makes an angle of 3.6 (4)degrees with the be nzaldehyde moiety.
