The structure of the title complex, C14H10O4.C13H9N, which was cocrystalliz
ed from an ethanol solution containing a 1:1 mixture of diphenic acid and a
cridine, has been determined. Hydrogen bonding exists between acid-acid and
acid-base as well as acridine pi-pi interactions. Proton transfer occurs i
n one of the two carboxylic acid-aromatic nitrogen interactions.
