Abstract
The diagnostic accuracy of the 12-lead electrocardiogram was evaluated in 6 6 adults with atrial septal defect and compared with results of echocardiog raphy. C, Classic electrocardiographic abnormalities were uncommon and did not have sufficient accuracy to determine the presence or absence of atrial septal defect.
