Abstract
journal reading is the number one educational activity for radiologists and is the resource Canadian radiologists use most often when adopting innovat ions into practice. The goal of the Canadian Association of Radiologists Jo urnal (CARJ) is to provide Canadian radiologists with high-quality, peer-re viewed scientific and educational content. This paper introduces a new publ ication format for the CARJ, the critically appraised topic or CAT.
