Abstract
Fuzzy controlled systems are considered and an on-line adaptation of f uzzy parameters is implemented. A description of the design of an opti mization procedure is given. Selection criteria for optimization algor ithms are defined and a Downhill Simplex algorithm is carefully examin ed. (C) Elsevier Science Inc. 1997.
