Abstract
A detailed geophysical survey has been carried out in the Armorican massif. Magnetic and radiometric data have been simultaneously recorded. The studi ed area offers a short cross-section through the major domains of the Varis can collision belt. Geophysical maps have been correlated with a regional g eological map drawn within the framework of the project (Armor2. GeoFrance 3D). Geological contours could be revisited and continuity of some structur al features are evident. Radiometric maps allowed identifying the geochemic al content of K, U and Th within volcano-sedimentary units. Magnetic geolog ical formations are followed beneath the Neogene sedimentary cover and offs hore. (C) 2001 Academie des sciences Editions scientifiques et medicates El sevier SAS.
