Abstract
Achieving successful outcomes in dermatologic surgery depends on preoperati ve planning, intraoperative diligence, and careful management of the postsu rgical phase of wound healing. The authors review the use of dressings and analgesics and discuss commonly encountered complications and features of e arly wound maturation that are important in managing patients postoperative ly.
