Abstract
Conversion Electron Mossbauer Spectroscopy has been applied to the stu dy of different novel expitaxially stabilized phases of the Fe-Si syst em and also of Fe3Si films. The silicides have been grown by Molecular Beam Epitaxy on Si(111). The Fe-57 Mossbauer parameters (isomer shift delta, linewidth Gamma, quadrupole splitting Delta and magnetic held H at the nucleus) are reported and discussed in terms of the local sur rounding of the Fe nucleus.
