The C-60 samples subjected to thermobaric treatment at a pressure of 1
3 GPa and temperatures 900-1300 K have been studied by the methods of
transmission electron microscopy. Two triclinic crystal lattices are i
dentified. It is shown that thermobaric treatment results in the forma
tion of a set of crystal structures with distorted fcc-lattices. The d
istortion of fee-lattices, a decrease of the lattice parameters, and a
n increase of the density of the phases obtained are explained by the
formation of chains of bound C-60 molecules.
