Abstract
Commercial grades of high density polyethylene, HDPE and waste poly(et hylene terephthalate), PET were melt blended over a wide range of comp ositions. Effect of ethylene acrylic acid copolymer, EAA, ethylene vin yl acetate copolymer, EVA and maleic anhydride grafted EVA as compatib ilizers on rheology and mechanical properties of the blend was studied . EAA was found most suitable compatibilizer.
