Abstract
Separation of oil in water emulsion was carried out by crossflow micro filtration using 3 types of microporous glass tubular membrane with di fferent pore size of 0.27, 0.75, and 1.47 mu m. The effect of pore siz e on permeate flux and oil rejection was investigated and the filtrati on mechanisms were analyzed based on various types of filtration model s.
