Abstract
The influence of the saturation on tensile strength of filter cakes was inv estigated. The measurements on the new direct shear apparatus have been mad e. The experiments were carried out using limestone powder as a tested mate rial. The tensile strength was calculated on the base Coulomb-Mohr criterio n.
